What is the relationship between ASHA CEUs and the course hours?

ASHA applies the Continuing Education Unit (CEU) as the set method of computing involvement in a CEU activity. One (1.0) ASHA CEU represents 10 hours of partaking in the continuing education activity. Thus, one hour of course attendance represents 0.1 ASHA CEUs.

How often are new courses made available?

Continuing education courses are added on a regular basis to this website. Please check the website for updates. You may contact us for any ideas for future courses.

Is ASHA membership a course requirement?

Participants must be eligible to participate in the ASHA CE Registry in order to receive ASHA CEU credit. However, those who are not ASHA members may participate in the course. They will not receive ASHA credit, but can have a certificate printed reflecting their course participation. ASHA may be contacted by potential course participants for more information. Graduates and Doctoral students may take courses as well.

What is the method for the ASHA Registry to obtain participant CEUs?

CEUalliedhealth.com is in contact with ASHA within four weeks of course completion. CEUalliedhealth.com provides the required documents to ASHA. For clinicians who are in the ASHA CE Registry, CEUalliedhelath.com will need the ASHA number of the participant.

Do local state organizations recognize the CE hours achieved on CEUalliedhealth.com?

Some local state agencies may recognize credit from CEUalliedhealth.com courses, since our company is an ASHA Approved CE Provider. Contacting your state organization for details is suggested.

When are course testing questions scored?

Immediate grading is completed once testing has been submitted by course participants. Then the grade will show on the monitor. Passing score will be 80% or greater. Participants will have five chances to achieve 80% proficiency on testing. These will be multiple choice questions.

What times may courses be taken online?

Continuing education activities online can be done at any time. Participants may finish courses all at once, or sign off the system and return to complete the course within one year of purchase.
